Teruel ?!? If you have to ask, that is a reason for an immediate booking. The Spanish province of Teruel is a real gem. A long undiscovered jewel. The convenient air link between Belgium and Valence is the perfect opportunity to go explore this region. We meet at the airport of Valence and take you to< Allepuz, a tiny village on no less than 1400 m of altitude.
Then we start on a big loop through the Maestrazgo mountains. We guarantee a raid to never forget, exploring enormous canyons, up to nearly 2000 m high peaks, over deserted trails and some fun tracks. We lodge in the most beautiful medieval villages, often founded by Templar knights. On two occasions we sleep two nights in the same hotel to make a local loop. So there are four laps in line and two loops. The laps in line have possibilities to take shortcuts - this is a raid that accessible for a broad public, from sportsmen seeking altitude training as casual bikers and bikesters whishing to enjoy the majestic mountain landscape.
Mountain bike experience is necessary, as this raid has a very high off-road level. Lodging in cosy and comfortable hotels and hostels. We take you back to Valence at the conclusion.
