Biking Navarra is our most popular raid, through three nature reserves in and around Navarra.

Rendez-vous in the sierra de Urbase y Andia, just across the French border and the Pyrenees mountains, a really enchanted biking area. We bike three days through lush green forests as well as above the tree line. Very diverse surroundings with occasional technical passages to a mountain top or over an ancient Roman road, which even leads us through a short cave ! Lodging in nice log cabins on the Urbasa plateau.

Then follow two days in the Bardenas Reales, Europe’s most northern desert and a biker’s paradise. The contrast with the green woodlands of the Pyrenees couldn’t be starker. Fast trails, weaving single tracks and picking your way through dry canyons, in unforgettable Far West settings.

In between the two trips in the Bardenas, we spend a day in greener mountains on the old border between Navarra and Aragon. Numerous strongholds, amazing vistas and at half way we go swimming in a beautiful natural pool hidden at the bottom of a small valley. In the evening, depending on the season, we are initiated by a toreador on a corrida bull stud-farm, we go wine-tasting in a bodega, or we visit a bull run in one of the little villages in the region.

The day trips are physically and technically a challenge for regular bikers, with distances between 33 and 90 kms (20 to 60 miles), very modular and perfectly adaptable to your level: every day you can take shortcuts on the big loops if preferred. Cool biking in very diverse landscapes and trails.
